Oval and “Pearl” Drop Earrings
A contemporary and vegan-friendly update to the classic pearl drops, these earrings were inspired by Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring. They feature a large silver faux pearl dangling from a chunky oval post top. To make the silver pearls, I melt recycled sterling silver scraps into rough teardrops then shape and smooth the teardrops by hand.
